Continuing with the 60th anniversary of Kyosho

We are super excited to announce the very limited production release of the Optima Mid 1987 Proto Type replica.

This replica car is based on the proto type car of Akira Kogawa, who was the main designer behind the Optima Mid at Kyosho and features his peppermint green colour scheme (Bodyshell is not painted)

Akira also took part at the 1987 world championships in Romsey England where the Kyosho team used the proto type car to great success securing 5 cars out of 10 in the main A final!

Many of the production moulded parts were not ready prior to the World Championships, so the proto type featured many CNC machined aluminium and carbon parts along with a modified Optima Pro bodyshell.

This will be a very limited production run of one batch only.

The packaging will be in a special small size box with handle.
